The Corrupt City

Friendships in exchange for corrupt favors

Buildings built in nowhere

Bridges the lead you to nowhere

Cities are evolutionary products of economics, choices made due to scarcity of resources (capital). The fact that they are scarce there is a cynical view of the governmental offices to abuse it for personal gains. This exploitation takes form of corruption, a by-product of the economy that inflicts it homogenous integrity with unforeseen disparity. Corruption that hides and disguises itself as an integral component of the system, just like a cancer that undermines the system for its selfish growth.

To facilitate the behaviors of this complex system one needs a medium of exchange or capital that has no value of its own but acts as a medium of storage of value. When this storage is overburdened it discharges to adjust it self by disrupting its fabric
Component 1 : Generic activity of an economy
Component 2 : Capital, the store of value of this activity
Component 3 : Corruption, a by-product of the activity

This model is an interplay between these components that co-exist and facilitate each other.

The corrupt city scans for the exploited opportunities of these unforeseen corrupt activities. This city understands corruption to be a necessity and integral part for evolutionary purposes, hence translates them into exaggerated anomalous growth patterns forming an overall enhanced complex system.
